This movie is based on facts, which are related to a crime saga of a man’s rise to fame in the underworld. Directed by Julian Gibey, this movie tells the story about a man rise to stardom, in London’s underground crime scene. Starting out as a footballer in the 1970’s, the young man is more hooligan than footballer, as he gets involved in violent skirmishes on the field. Carlton Leach played by Ricci Harnett finds out that football is something that he cannot continue, as violence is something that follows him around. Leaving the soccer fields for good, he searches for something that will suit him better. Carlton Leach decides to start his own company called ICF, but this company is only a front for a drug ring syndicate. As Carlton Leach seems to be a natural in this business, his company soon starts to grow, and Carlton Leach starts getting more drugs to sell on the street. Getting caught up with all the drugs that he has on hand, Carlton Leach falls into addiction to the products that he is selling. The never ending cycle of violence continues to follow him, as more criminals start trying to do business with Carlton Leach. Trying to keep himself safe, Carlton Leach decides to hire other more psychopathic criminals to guard him, this decision comes when one of his shipment disappears on route to him. Fearing danger, Carlton Leach tries to figure out who were the ones that stole the shipment, but things are getting more dangerous, as Turkish gangsters start getting closer. While he is being pressured by the Turkish gangsters, Carlton Leach still has to be wary of the police, but along the journey he becomes one of the most well-known criminals in London. This movie is based on fact, and it show cases how violent and dangerous the crime world can be. Carlton Leach is portrayed in a realistic manner to bring the message across the screen. The direction of the movie is very dark, but this only gives the gritty nature of the movie more depth.
