"Roseanna McCoy" (1949) is an American movie based on a novel about the Hatfield-McCoy feud of the late 19th century. The title character falls in love with a young man in the Hatfield family. The young man, Johnse, takes her home to meets his parents. He tells said parents that he plans to marry Roseanna, and his father, Anse, uses the engagement as an excuse to restart hostilities. But when Roseanna is threatened by a psychotic member of the family, Anse comes to her rescue.
