See Dick Run is a 2009 comedy film that follows the story of Richard Jones (Kel Mitchell), an aspiring actor who is unable to get any acting gigs. After his girlfriend dumps him on the same day he gets fired from his job as a mail clerk, Richard meets up with his childhood friend, Jamal (Page Kennedy). Jamal now works as a security guard and gives Richard the idea to impersonate a police officer to impress his ex-girlfriend. The two then embark on a wild and hilarious adventure that involves them pretending to be law enforcement and getting caught up in a real-life crime. The movie features a number of notable actors, including Todd Bridges, who plays the role of a real police officer.

The film begins with Richard living a disappointing life in Los Angeles. Richard is convinced that he has the talent to make it as an actor but seems to be getting nowhere. His girlfriend breaks up with him, stating that she is tired of supporting him financially, and his boss fires him from his job as a mail clerk. As a result, Richard is forced to sleep in his car and desperately seeks any opportunity to get back on his feet.

Enter Jamal, Richard's childhood friend who is now working as a security guard. Jamal convinces Richard to impersonate a police officer to impress his ex-girlfriend, Michelle (Denyce Lawton). At first, Richard is hesitant, but he eventually agrees to the idea. The two then set out to find police uniforms and equipment to use for their ruse.

Once they have their police uniforms, they begin to make their way around the city pretending to be cops. Their antics quickly draw the attention of a real police officer, Det. Bolton (Todd Bridges), who becomes suspicious of their behaviour. Richard and Jamal's antics also attract the attention of a group of low-level criminals, who mistake them for the real police and try to bribe them into ignoring their criminal activities.

Despite their best efforts to play the part of the police, Richard and Jamal quickly find that they are in way over their heads. As the criminals begin to take advantage of their pretended authority, they soon find themselves in a web of lies and deceit that they can't seem to escape from.

Throughout, the film offers a light-hearted and comedic look at the world of law enforcement, with Kel Mitchell and Page Kennedy delivering strong performances as the bumbling Richard and wannabe-cop Jamal. Todd Bridges is also excellent as the straight-laced police officer tasked with keeping law and order in the city.
