Watch Skinwalker Ranch

Of all the “found footage” movies that continue to proliferate the market “SkinWalker Ranch” can at least boast that it follows the genre pretty closely. By now we all know the drill: strange things happen at some out-of-the-way location, snippets of paranormal or alien activity are captured on video, the locals are interviewed, a few experts are brought in and somehow all the dots are connected by film's end and we get a resolution of sorts. “Skinwalker Ranch” -- apart from has got to be the most misleading title of the year -- contributes to the horror genre with a few good scares and a cast of actors so bad that the performances come off as real. The story thus far: Devoted father and ranch owner Hoyt Miller (played by Jon Gries in the role of a lifetime) see's mysterious aliens kidnap his young son. Who these beings are - Men in Black, the IRS - comes together over the course of the film thanks to interviews and video gone bad.
