Star of Midnight is a 1935 American mystery-comedy film directed by Stephen Roberts starring William Powell, Ginger Rogers, and Paul Kelly. With the assistance of his faithful sidekick, a trusty dog named "Asta,â Chambers pieces together the clues, untangles the web of lies and deceit, and ultimately cracks the case. However, not before encountering and overcoming various obstacles that put their lives in danger. Along the way, Powell's charm and wit showcase his comedic prowess, with Rogers as his perfect counterpart, injecting humor and giving us a few catchy tunes along the way.
