Tom Adkins is a detective whose son disappeared years ago. Though he is haunted by these events he decides to take on a case that is very similar to his own. After receiving a phone call on morning, he is led to the mutilated body of a boy who was killed fifty years prior to. Tom begins to notice the uncanny coincidences that exist in this investigation and realizes that there are parallels between the circumstances that surround this case and his own son's disappearance. As the investigation progresses, Tom begins to learn of what has happened to his son.
