Watch Tell It To A Star

A young woman that has appeared in cigarette commercials wants to become a singer in a band. She repeatedly auditions for a band at a night club and gets turned down every time. Her uncle comes to visit and devices a plan with her. He calls the leader of the band, claiming to be a Colonel and uses it to influence the band leader to hire his niece. The young woman and the band leader soon fall in love after working together a few times. When the scheme is reveled, the band leader must decide if he still wants her.
