A small time reporter in Ft. Worth, Texas dreams of becoming a New York City playwright. When his grandmother dies, he inherits a large sum of money, quits his job, and heads to the Big Apple. Along the way, he picks up a beautiful hitchhiker, but the city turns out to be much more perilous than they originally planned.
