The Bullfighters is a 1945 Laurel and Hardy film. It was the comedy duo’s final film in the United States. Stan and Ollie are private detectives who travel to Mexico in pursuit of a female thief named Hattie Blake. Her nickname is Larceny Nell. They check in at the Hotel El Matador where Larceny Nell is residing. Stan bears an uncanny resemblance to a famous bullfighter named Hot Shot Coleman. Coleman has an unscrupulous promoter who also resides at the Hotel El Matador. He decides to pass off Stan as the bullfighter Don Sebastian since everyone at the hotel thinks that he is Sebastian. This is a classic Laurel and Hardy adventure full of funny gags and misunderstandings.
