Have you ever wished being able to go back into time and change the past? In the movie the Butterfly Effect, Evan Treborn, is possible going back to his past and change events. Being able to change the past comes with a price. If you are able to change the past then you will be changing the present and the future. That has happened to Evan though out the entire movie.

Being able to change the past can actually be a curse more than a blessing. Evan was born with a gift to where when he was a young boy, he saw a Therapist. The therapist told him to start writing a journal about his daily life. He stayed writing a journal up until he was in college. When he was younger, many horrible events happened to him and his friends.

He was unaware of being able, to go into time to be able to change the events that has happened to him. He found out by being able to go back into time was when he found his old journals from when he was younger. After he found them, he started reading the entries of what he wrote. The memories where so powerful that he was able to go back into time of the event and relived it. After doing that a few times, he figured out that he was able to change the events. He was able to change the past but at the same time, he also changed the present.

When he was able to change, the past and it affected the present. Not everything worked out when he comes back to the present. When not everything was the way that Evan did not want, he goes back to his journal and reads the entire again, for he can change the present again. He changed so many events and it affected so many people when he did that.

While Evan was changing people’s lives, the only person that knew what was going on was Evan. Everybody else did not know that Evan has been playing with their lives. Not everything may seem what it truly is during this movie, you will never what will happen next. You will be seating on the edge of your chair during this movie.
