Sam Reide has helped the police on many occasions using his gift which they think is being a psychic to catch many criminals that without his help would never have been caught. Just like the first two movies Sam uses his gift to go back to certain times in his life by only concentrating on the place and time in which he wishes to go to. In this movie Sam sees his girlfriend being killed and wakes up in a bath tub full of ice. He then goes back to the time in which all of this happened to try and save her from her imminent death.
