Watch The Doe Boy

A young man with a white father and a Native American mother is caught between the values of two different cultures. To make things more complicated, the young man suffers from hemophilia, making most sports activities dangerous. But the boy feels compelled to prove himself a man by deer hunting with his father. Here again there is conflict: His father wants him to "hunt like a white man" while his Native culture approaches the killing of wild game with different values and philosophy. How can this young man reconcile the conflict of his life and culture?
