Inspired by the Pink Floyd album of the same name, this film shows the World of 1980s Britain through the eyes of a World War II veteran. Four Pink Floyd songs play over the action, which depicts the life of the veteran as he drives through the UK and at home as he interacts with his wife. The veteran also becomes involved in the life of an Asian factory worker he attempts to save from racism and death.
