The Killer Inside Me
- 1 hr 49 min
The Killer Inside Me is directed by Michael Winterbottom. This movie is about a deputy in the state of Texas who is thought to be the killer of the town. This movie is centered in the 1950's and is about revenge and painful humiliation. The sheriff, Lou Ford, is a well liked guy in the town, but underneath his good nature is a sociopath waiting to kill. He must find his way through his revengeful rampage and decide if true love is reason enough to stop his destructive path or if it's all part of the deadly game. The sheriff's boss sends him out to harass a local prostitute living in a house just outside of the town. She fights him of course, slapping him, with abuse from him in return. After a few weeks of daily sexual occurrences, the sheriff realizes he might be in love. Out of devotion or fear for him she stands by his side thinking he might be trying to take down the infamous Chester Conway who runs the local construction business in town. Instead, she becomes something to trade in a plot for revenge, when Lou has other murderous intentions all together. When the district attorney gets involved, he has his eyes on Lou. Chester Conway is leary of Lou because he knows that he hired a man on his crew that took the rap for a crime Lou committed in the past. Lou just happens to be involved in the biggest cover-up that would shake things upside down for the whole town. Through all of the questioning, between the attorney and Chester, Lou remains calm and collective. He must keep out of the spotlight and in the process he just might discover if he's truly in love or if he can escape prison.
