Watch The Many Faces of Sherlock Holmes

Arthur Conan Doyle’s cerebral sleuth Sherlock Holmes has become a beloved character worldwide from his inception. This documentary looks at the fictional detective’s appeal through an examination of his many portrayals over the years. The film is narrated by Christopher Lee, who also played Holmes on screen. Rare footage of a 1929 interview with Conan Doyle is also included, as are film clips of the thespians that played the part such as Basil Rathbone, Christopher Plummer and Peter Cushing.
