A woman learns that her son died in a horrific accident. She soon finds out about a ritual that can be performed that will bring him back long enough to say goodbye. However, there is a warning involved with the ritual that she ignores, which causes a tragic upset with life and death, something that she can't control. The family is living on another country when the young son is taken too soon. As the mother is unable to be consoled by anyone, she reads about some of the ways that people can be brought back to life. An ancient ritual seems like the best idea as it has promises of bringing loved ones back for one final moment so that they can tell family members goodbye. The mother has to go to an ancient temple to perform the ritual. A door is there that leads to another world, but she isn't supposed to open the door. Instead of listening to the warning, she opens it anyway to discover a secret on the other side of the door.
