The Pink Panther
- 1 hr 53 min
Considered by some the best of the Pink Panther series of films, this 1963 movie was the first in a succession of comedies in which the late Peter Sellers developed the character of the bumbling, conceited French police detective, Inspector Jacques Clouseau. In the film, the main character entertains with humor, often engaging in slapstick fumbles. The plot centers around the theft of a priceless diamond by a skillful, mysterious thief, who seems to purloin jewels with ease. David Niven appears as Sir Charles Lytton, and Robert Wagner plays his suave young relative, George Lytton. Blake Edwards directed the film.
