The Revolting Dead is a low-budget horror movie from 2003 that aims to capitalize on the popularity of zombie films. Directed by Julian Breen and distributed by Brain Damage Films, the movie features a cast of unknown actors, including Shelley Delayne, Aaron Gaffey, Bokahra Robinson, and Michael Falls. The plot of the movie follows a group of young adults who go on a camping trip in the woods. While on the trip, they stumble upon an abandoned research facility that was once used for experiments on the undead. Unbeknownst to them, the scientists conducted unethical experiments that resulted in a zombie outbreak that threatened all of humanity.

As the group explores the facility, they accidentally release the virus that turns people into zombies. They become trapped in the facility and must fight for their survival against the hordes of undead that are trying to kill them. The group quickly realizes that the only way to escape is to find a way out of the facility before they succumb to the virus.

The Revolting Dead is a typical low-budget horror movie with a predictable plot and mediocre acting. The special effects are minimal, and the makeup used to create the zombies is not particularly convincing. The movie also suffers from poor lighting and sound quality, which can make it difficult to see and hear what is happening on screen.

Despite these shortcomings, The Revolting Dead does have some entertaining moments. There are a few jump scares and tense scenes that keep the audience engaged. The movie also features some humor that provides some relief from the otherwise intense and scary atmosphere.

One of the main strengths of the movie is the performances of the cast. Although they are relatively unknown actors, they do a decent job of portraying their characters and making them believable. Shelley Delayne, in particular, stands out as the tough and resourceful leader of the group.

The Revolting Dead tries to inject some originality into the zombie genre by exploring the idea of unethical scientific research and the consequences of playing God. Unfortunately, the movie does not delve deeply enough into these themes to make them meaningful or engaging. The characters are also not well-developed, which makes it difficult for the audience to care about their fates.

Overall, The Revolting Dead is a mediocre horror movie that will likely only appeal to die-hard fans of the zombie genre. It has some entertaining moments, but lacks the polish and originality of more successful zombie movies.
