The Sword with No Name

This South Korean action film, alternatively titled, Like Fireworks, Like Butterflies, was directed by Kim Yong-gyun. The film takes place during the Joseon Dynasty and follows the adventures of Mu-myeong, a bounty hunter who, during one of his missions, falls for a beautiful noblewoman named Min who is set to be married to the leader of the Joseon Dynasty, Emperor Gojong.

Lovesick and desperate to be reunited with his beloved Min, Mu-myeong joins the Emperor's Royal guards and discovers, much to his dismay, that Min has become embroiled in political schemes that not only threaten her life, but the future of the nation.
