The Vatican Affair is a crime thriller film that was released in 1968. A professor decides that he wants to steal a valuable and historically important item from St. Peter’s Basilica. The only problem is that the professor is completely blind, and has no experience with crime. The professor has to hire a team of thieves, and then come up with a plan that will allow for them to get around the crowds and intense security. The Vatican Affair was directed by Emilio Miraglia, and was written by Augusto Caminito and Maurizio Costanzo. The film features performances by Klaus Kinski, Walter Pidgeon, and Marino Masé.
