In this drama, Hill Harper plays a man serving a life sentence in prison for a rape he didn't commit. When he learns he is dying of AIDS, he resolves to make amends for the wrongs he actually has committed, and through a series of visits from people from his past, he begins to transform himself. Phylicia Rashad plays a psychiatrist who helps him along the path, and Billy Dee Williams and Marla Gibbs play his parents. The film was direct by Jordan Walker-Pearlman, who also wrote the screenplay based on a stage play by Kosmond Russell. The film was released in June 2000.
