The Young Girls of Rochefort

"...they're Singing and Dancing in the Streets"

Taking place over a single weekend in the French seaside town of Rochefort, the story focuses on twin sisters who hope to find a way out of their lives in the small isolated town. The arrival of a fair seems to provide both Delphine and Solange with an opportunity to escape their lives as a ballet teacher and music teacher in the form of men arriving in the town for the festivities. Both women find themselves unaware they have already met the love of their lives as they long for an escape from their boring lives.
