Soldier for hire Dan McCloud (Ronald Reagan) gets a job working for a ruthless banana exporter to go to the island of Puerto Barrancas and destroy a competitor's plantation. But when McCloud meets the beautiful owner of the plantation, Flanders White, he unexpectedly finds himself falling in love.
