Aerial America is a documentary television show that brings viewers on a breathtaking journey across the United States by taking an aerial tour from the coastlines to the heartlands to capture the natural beauty, cultural diversity, and iconic landmarks from a unique perspective.

The very first episode of season 1 of Aerial America is titled California, where viewers will get an opportunity to fly over the most populated state in the USA and explore some of the most stunning landscapes, bustling cities, and iconic landmarks that make California unique.

The show starts with a bird's eye view of the Golden Gate Bridge, one of the world's most recognizable landmarks, spanning over the San Francisco Bay, as a group of cyclists ride along the bridge road. From there, we take a classical car tour of historic San Francisco while witnessing the beautiful architecture, steep hills, and bustling streets.

Next up on the tour is a flight over Napa Valley, a renowned region famous for its wine production. The aerial shots of the valley show a lush green landscape of rolling hills and rows of vineyards, as well as wineries and vintage train rides that offer visitors a luxurious experience.

The show then moves to Hollywood, the center of the film industry, and home to the famous Hollywood sign, where we are taken on a tour of the Paramount Picture Studios, the oldest film studio in the USA that has produced over 6000 movies, including iconic classics such as The Godfather, Titanic, and Forrest Gump.

Continuing the flight over California, the episode showcases the Yosemite National Park, one of the country's most visited national parks, known for its stunning array of waterfalls, meadows, and granite rock formations, including El Capitan, a famous peak highly popular among rock climbers all over the world.

Following Yosemite, the episode takes us to the Death Valley National Park, where we witness one of the harshest and most inhospitable environments on Earth, with temperatures soaring up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit, breathtaking landscapes of sand dunes, salt flats, and crumbling canyons that span over3.4 million acres. Some of the locations explored by the documentary include Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America, and the Dante's View, one of the best viewpoints of the park.

The show later moves to the coastal region of California, showcasing the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, a famous seaside amusement park, where families and tourists enjoy amusement rides with the Pacific Ocean's stunning backdrop.

The episode culminates with an aerial view of the iconic Point Reyes Lighthouse, one of the most popular tourist attractions in California that stands atop a dramatic and rugged coastline. The lighthouse is a reminder of the state's rich history and the beacon that guided three million ships through the treacherous Golden Gate straits.

Overall, the California episode of Aerial America is a must-watch for anyone who has a fascination with the Golden State's incredible landscapes, man-made wonders, rich cultural diversity and history. It's a visual treat of world-class cinematography, coupled with informative commentary, and will undoubtedly leave you in awe of California's natural beauty and cultural significance.
