Ep 1. Episode 1

AJ and the Queen is a comedy-drama web television series that revolves around Robert Lee, a young drag queen, who embarks on the road trip of a lifetime across America with a tough-talking 10-year-old orphan named AJ, whom he has unwittingly kidnapped.

In Episode 1, we are introduced to the main character Robert Lee, a drag queen also known as Ruby Red, performing at a club in New York City. Ruby Red is popular and adored by the crowd, but she is also dealing with personal problems. Ruby's boyfriend has stolen all of her savings and run off with her best friend, leaving her completely broke.

After a disappointing night at the club, Ruby is determined to make money and leave the city to start a new life. She plans on going to Dallas, Texas where she believes there is a major drag competition with a cash prize of $100,000. Ruby plans to win the competition and start a new life with her boyfriend.

However, on the way to Dallas, Ruby runs into some trouble. While at a gas station in a small town, she meets AJ, a young girl who is checking the trash for food. Ruby is immediately drawn to AJ and offers to buy her a meal. AJ's initial reluctance to accept Ruby's help is overcome by her hunger and she finally agrees.

When Ruby goes to use the restroom, AJ takes the opportunity to steal her cash and escape. Ruby is devastated to find out she has been robbed and is left with no money, no car, and no phone. She is stranded in the middle of nowhere.

As Ruby tries to figure out what to do next, she is surprised to find AJ waiting for her. AJ reveals that she is an orphan and has nowhere to go. When Ruby asks about her parents, AJ tells her that her mother is a drug addict and her father is in jail. Ruby is sympathetic and offers to take AJ with her to Dallas.

Together, Ruby and AJ begin their journey to Dallas, but it is not an easy one. They have to hitchhike, walk and sleep in motels. Ruby also discovers that AJ has stolen her drag costumes and make-up. She finds it difficult to bond with the young girl as AJ is disrespectful and vulgar.

As they travel across the country, Ruby and AJ's personalities clash. Ruby tries to teach AJ some manners, while AJ shows Ruby how to survive on the streets. The two form an unlikely friendship as they continue their journey.

The show is filled with fun and heartwarming moments. The first episode shows the struggle of two very different people trying to navigate their way through life. It also touches on the themes of loss, love, and acceptance.

The episode ends with Ruby and AJ's car breaking down in the middle of the highway. They are forced to flag down a truck driver for help, and they both climb aboard the truck. The episode leaves us with a sense of anticipation and excitement for what's to come next.
