To make matters worse, Maurice starts to use dirty tactics like hair-pulling and eye-gouging. Julien is able to defend himself, but he is quickly losing the respect of his subjects.

Just when it seems like the fight is over, the princess intervenes. She tells Julien that she never wanted a fighter, she wanted someone who was honest and true to themselves. She forgives him for his lie and encourages him to be himself. Julien realizes that he has been acting foolishly, and he agrees.

The kingdom cheers as the two friends make up and hug. The episode ends with Julien reflecting on his mistakes and promising to be a better king in the future.
