As the family continues to navigate these various dilemmas, Gob decides to stage an elaborate magic trick involving the Crowe car. He plans to disappear in the car and then reappear somewhere else, but the trick goes awry and he crashes the car into a wall. This leads to a chain reaction of events, as the family members scramble to cover up the accident and keep it from Lucille.
Throughout the episode, tensions rise between Michael and Lucille, as he struggles to balance her demands with his own responsibilities – both to the family and to his job. As always, the rest of the Bluths contribute to the chaos with their own quirks and antics.
