Ep 9. S.O.B.s

In the Arrested Development season 3 episode 9 titled S.O.B.s, tensions are high as the Bluth family prepares for the unveiling of their new building. The episode starts with Buster still at boot camp, where he is forced to perform menial tasks such as fixing toilets and cleaning up the grounds. Meanwhile, Michael is busy at work trying to finalize the details of the building's upcoming unveiling party. Back at the model home, Lucille is busy planning for the unveiling party and enlists the help of her son Gob to put together a performance. However, the two end up getting into a heated argument, with Gob accusing Lucille of never showing him any love or respect. This results in Lucille disinviting Gob from the party, leaving him feeling rejected and hurt.

In an effort to make things right with Gob, Lucille decides to put on a special show just for him, called S.O.B.s (Save Our Bluths), which she hopes will help bring the family together. The show ends up being a disaster, with everyone fighting and arguing, and it becomes clear that the Bluths are simply unable to work together as a family.

Throughout the episode, there are several subplots involving each of the Bluth family members. For example, Tobias is still trying to break into the acting world, and ends up getting arrested while trying to score some drugs. He then tries to use his arrest as a publicity stunt to further his acting career, but ends up getting himself into more trouble.

Meanwhile, George Sr. is still on the run, and spends much of the episode hiding out in the attic of the model home. Here, he watches his family from afar, and reflects on his past mistakes and the ways in which he has let down his children.

Overall, Arrested Development season 3 episode 9 is a dramatic and chaotic episode that sees the Bluth family reaching its breaking point. While there are still plenty of comedic moments throughout the episode, it is clear that the show is heading towards a dark and uncertain finale. For fans of the series, this episode is a must-watch.
