Ep 5. A New Start

Michael Bluth is ready to start anew after a series of setbacks, including losing his job and girlfriend, and stealing his father's frozen banana stand. He decides to move to Phoenix to be closer to his son George Michael, who is attending college there. However, before leaving, he must tie up loose ends in his family's business and personal affairs.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Bluth Fünke takes on a new persona as a red-headed activist named "Gangie" and gets involved with a group protesting the construction of a wall on the Mexican border. Her husband Tobias gets caught up in the movement as well, albeit in a much different way as he attempts to earn his place in the group by embracing their "hippie" lifestyle.

Back in Bluth family business, Gob continues to struggle with his magic career and turns to his sister Lucille Austero for financial assistance. Lucille, who has always had a complex relationship with her wealthy and powerful family, sees an opportunity to use Gob's request to gain some leverage.

The episode also delves into the personal life of Maeby Fünke, who is trying to navigate her way through the entertainment industry as a young producer. She encounters some difficult challenges and is forced to make some tough decisions that could have long-term consequences.
