A description for the show Ashes of Love season 1 episode 8:

In Episode 8 of Ashes of Love, things are starting to get complicated for our main characters. Jin Mi is forced to come to terms with the fact that she has fallen in love with Xufeng, a deity who is technically her superior and who is betrothed to another woman. As she struggles with her feelings, Xufeng tries to distance himself from Jin Mi for her own safety.

Meanwhile, Princess Quan Zhi is not happy about Xufeng’s sudden change in behavior. She suspects that he is hiding something from her and sets out to uncover the truth. As tensions escalate between the two women vying for Xufeng’s affections, Xufeng himself is plagued by haunting visions of his past.

As if that wasn't enough drama, our trio is also faced with a new threat. A powerful demon queen, whose hatred for the deities runs deep, is on the hunt for Xufeng and his companions. With danger lurking around every corner and trust becoming increasingly scarce, our heroes must band together to survive.

But just when it seems like all hope is lost, a surprise ally comes to their aid. Ling Long, a fox spirit who has been in hiding for years, reveals herself to Jin Mi and offers her help in defeating the demon queen.

As the episode comes to a close, Jin Mi, Xufeng, and Ling Long set out to face their new enemy head-on, armed with nothing but their wits and their powers. Will they be able to defeat the demon queen and put an end to her reign of terror? And what will become of the complicated love triangle between Jin Mi, Xufeng, and Princess Quan Zhi?
