Ep 1. Ejaculation

Maury and Andrew, two 7th grade best friends, have just begun to explore the world of puberty and sexuality. However, Andrew is still struggling to understand the mechanics of masturbation, while Maury boasts of having already experienced his first ejaculation. The two boys navigate their changing bodies and hormones, with the help of their hormone monsters who appear as imaginary friends.

Meanwhile, Jessi, a new student at the school, is dealing with her own set of insecurities and anxieties. She's horrified to learn that the school's resident mean girl has already gotten her period, making Jessi feel left behind and embarrassed. Jessi turns to her own hormone monster, Connie, for advice, but ends up feeling even more confused and overwhelmed.

As the kids prepare for a school dance, Andrew becomes increasingly fixated on trying to masturbate again in order to experience another ejaculation. His hormone monster, known as the Hormone Monster, encourages him to explore his sexuality, but also warns him not to get too carried away.

Meanwhile, Maury begins to experience the consequences of being so sexually experienced at such a young age. Maury's hormone monster, known as the Hormone Monstress, encourages him to continue exploring his desires despite the ridicule from others.

In the end, Andrew finally achieves another ejaculation, but discovers that it's not exactly the magical moment he had imagined. Maury learns the hard way that there's such a thing as too much sexual talk, and Jessi comes to terms with the fact that everyone develops at their own pace. All three kids come away from the experience with a newfound sense of understanding and acceptance about their own bodies and desires.
