Ep 1. Miedo a los Kangreburguers/ Al vacío

Bob Esponja season 1 episode 1, titled "Miedo a los Kangreburguers/ Al vacío", introduces the beloved character of SpongeBob SquarePants, a sea sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea in the town of Bikini Bottom.

In "Miedo a los Kangreburguers", SpongeBob gets a new job at the Krusty Krab, a popular fast-food restaurant. However, he develops a fear of making the signature dish, the Krabby Patty, after a creepy customer tells him a scary story about a monster that haunts the burger. SpongeBob's fear gets the best of him as he tries to avoid making the burger and comes up with different excuses to get out of it. Eventually, his determination to overcome his fear helps him to find a solution and he becomes a successful Krabby Patty maker.

In "Al vacío", SpongeBob tries to clean his house with a high-tech vacuum cleaner, but ends up sucking all of the air out of his home and trapping himself and his pet snail Gary inside. He tries to find a way to escape the vacuum but gets into some hilarious mishaps along the way. Eventually, his resourcefulness and quick thinking help him to escape and restore air to his home.

Throughout both of these episodes, viewers are introduced to a cast of quirky and lovable characters, including SpongeBob's best friend Patrick Star, the grumpy restaurant owner Mr. Krabs, and the scheming Plankton, who is always trying to steal the Krabby Patty secret recipe.
