In this episode of Classic Doctor Who season 13, entitled "Pyramids of Mars: Part 3," the Doctor and his companion Sarah Jane continue their efforts to prevent the evil Sutekh, an immensely powerful and ancient being, from escaping his prison on Mars and unleashing destruction across the galaxy. As they delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding the pyramids and their connection to Sutekh, they encounter unexpected allies and enemies alike.
Picking up where the previous episode left off, the Doctor and Sarah Jane find themselves in the midst of a fierce battle between Sutekh's robot minions and a group of human cultists who worship the imprisoned god. Despite their initial reluctance to trust each other, the Doctor and the cult leader, a woman named Ibrahim, soon realize that they share a common enemy in Sutekh. With Ibrahim's help, the Doctor is able to infiltrate Sutekh's inner sanctum and confront him directly, but the villain's power is more than a match for the Time Lord.
Meanwhile, Sarah Jane finds herself held captive by Sutekh's servant, the traitorous Egyptian priest Marcus Scarman. Scarman, possessed by Sutekh's will, has been carrying out the god's bidding on Earth, using his knowledge of advanced technology to build a network of slave robots in preparation for Sutekh's release. Sarah Jane's attempts to reason with Scarman prove futile, and she must use all her wits and resourcefulness to try and escape his clutches.
As the Doctor and Ibrahim continue to fight their way through Sutekh's defenses, they discover a shocking secret: the pyramids are not merely a monument to the god's power, but a key part of his plan to escape his imprisonment. Only by disrupting the energy flow that sustains the pyramids can they hope to stop Sutekh once and for all. But with time running out and Scarman's forces closing in on them, the Doctor and Ibrahim must make a desperate gamble to save the galaxy from destruction.
