Ep 9. Full Circle: Part 1

The Classic Doctor Who season 18 episode 9 for episode named Full Circle: Part 1 takes the viewers to the planet Alzarius where the Doctor and his companions Romana and K9 have landed. Their intention is to repair the TARDIS while they wait for a certain alignment of the planets to take place. However, as soon as they land, they realize that things on this planet are not quite what they had expected.

Alzarius is a swampy planet with a distinct lack of technology and a population of primitive humanoids known as the Alzarians. These people live in tribes and have a strong belief in the Great River Spirit that they believe controls their lives and their environment. The Doctor and his companions are soon caught up in the struggles and problems facing the Alzarians as they try to make sense of the strange occurrences that have been affecting their world.

The episode starts off with an introduction to the Alzarians and their way of life. We see the hunters of the tribe out in the swamp searching for food, when they stumble upon a strange metal object. They have no idea what it is, but they decide to take it back to the tribe to try and figure it out. Meanwhile, the Doctor, Romana, and K9 are exploring the planet and trying to repair the TARDIS. Romana even tries her hand at some fishing in the murky waters of the swamp.

When the hunters bring back the metal object, the tribe is mystified by its appearance and its purpose. They decide to take it to their elders for analysis. The Doctor and his companions are alerted to this and decide to investigate. They are shocked to find that the object is actually a piece of technology that could have only come from a civilization hundreds of years ahead of the Alzarians. This leads the Doctor to believe that there may be more to this planet than meets the eye.

As if things couldn't get any stranger, one of the Alzarians is found to have a split personality, with one half being a kind, gentle soul and the other half being a beastly, violent creature. The Doctor and his companions are able to help the afflicted Alzarian, but they soon realize that there may be more of these split personalities lurking beneath the surface of this primitive society.

As the Doctor and his companions continue to explore the planet, they soon discover that there is much more to this world than they had originally thought. They find a crashed spaceship that is unlike anything they have ever seen before. The Doctor realizes that this ship could hold the key to unlocking the mysteries of Alzarius and uncovering the dark forces that are at play on this planet.

Full Circle: Part 1 sets up a tantalizing mystery on the planet Alzarius, with strange technology, split personalities, and a tribe of primitive humanoids. The Doctor and his companions must piece together the clues and uncover the secrets of this world before it's too late.
