Classic Doctor Who Season 5 Episode 24 The Web of Fear: Part 2

The Web of Fear: Part 2 is the twenty-fourth episode of season five of Classic Doctor Who. The episode starts where the previous episode had ended, with the TARDIS being taken over by a mysterious web-like substance. The Doctor, Jamie, and Victoria are still trapped inside the TARDIS, unable to escape. Meanwhile, the military soldiers who had originally come to investigate the London underground have been attacked by the monstrous creature, the Yeti, and are slowly being killed off.

The Doctor manages to work out that the web-like substance that has taken over the TARDIS is a form of fungus, and decides to use this knowledge to try and find a way to escape. However, things take a turn for the worse when the remaining soldiers are forced to retreat, leaving the Doctor, Jamie, and Victoria to fend for themselves against the Yeti.

As they try to figure out a way to escape the underground, the Doctor and his companions encounter another group of survivors, who are holed up in a nearby control room. Among this group is the mysterious Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart, who will go on to become a major figure in the Doctor Who universe.

Despite their newfound allies, the Doctor and his companions still find themselves in grave danger, as the Yeti continue to attack and hunt them down. Meanwhile, one of the soldiers who had been attacked by the Yeti begins to show some strange symptoms, leading the Doctor to suspect that there may be something more to these creatures than meets the eye.

As the situation becomes increasingly dire, the Doctor and his companions must work together with their new allies to try and find a way out of the underground and put an end to the threat of the Yeti once and for all. But with time running out and the creatures closing in, will they be able to succeed?

The Web of Fear: Part 2 is a tense and thrilling episode of Classic Doctor Who, filled with danger, suspense, and twists and turns that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
