The governor, however, is powerless to act as he is under the control of the terrorists.
As the Doctor and Jo get closer to the control room, they face their greatest challenge yet. They must navigate through a maze of tunnels and passageways, all the while being pursued by the Keller Machine. When they finally reach the control room, they are confronted by the terrorists and their leader, who is revealed to be a former prison governor who was corrupted by power.
In a tense showdown, the Doctor and Jo face off against the terrorists and the Keller Machine. With the help of Captain Chin Lee and a group of inmates who have rebelled against the terrorists, they are able to disable the machine and prevent it from causing any further harm. The traitor is revealed and brought to justice, and the Doctor and Jo are able to return to the TARDIS and leave Stangmoor Prison behind.
