In the second episode of Danger & Eggs, titled "Ren Faire / Satellite Gardens," D.D. Danger and her talking, enthusiastic best friend, Phillip, get themselves into a couple of new adventures.
The episode begins with D.D. and Phillip arriving at the renaissance faire. The fair features jousting, live demonstrations of blacksmithing, and even a live chess game. D.D. is immediately enamored and is eager to participate in all of the activities. Phillip, on the other hand, is a bit more reluctant. He decides to sit back and watch the jousting match, but eventually gets pulled into the fun by D.D.
Throughout the episode, the duo partakes in several medieval activities while attempting to find a gift for D.D.'s cousin. Along the way, they meet a group of role-players who attempt to stay in-character at all times and often mix up reality and fantasy. The main role-player they meet is a knight who takes his role very seriously, which ends up causing a bit of confusion when he tries to rescue D.D. from a pretend dragon.
The second half of the episode takes place at Satellite Gardens, a futuristic and avant-garde park that features various sci-fi themed attractions. Similar to the ren faire, D.D. is eager to participate in everything the park has to offer, while Phillip is a bit more passive. The duo soon stumbles upon a group of kids who are causing trouble by vandalizing the park. D.D. takes it upon herself to stop them, but soon realizes that the kids aren't the actual culprits - it's a devious robot who is controlling them all.
Overall, the episode is action-packed and full of adventure, with both D.D. and Phillip learning valuable lessons along the way. Additionally, the episode introduces a wide range of unique and entertaining characters, leaving viewers excited to see what other characters and adventures are in store for D.D. and Phillip in future episodes.
