Poland, the tenth and final episode of the second season of Epic Trails, takes viewers on a journey through the picturesque landscapes and rich history of the country. As show host Eric Hanson embarks on this adventure, he encounters some of the most breathtaking natural beauty and cultural wonders that Poland has to offer.

The journey begins in the city of Krakow, where Eric visits the Wawel Royal Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site that dates back to the 13th century. Here, he learns about the legend of the Wawel Dragon and explores the castle's impressive architecture and artwork.

From Krakow, Eric heads to the Tatra Mountains, a stunning alpine range located in the south of Poland. Here, he meets up with local guide Marcin Gajek, who takes him on a challenging hike to the summit of Rysy Peak, the highest peak in Poland. Along the way, Eric marvels at the panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and forests and learns about the unique flora and fauna of the area.

As the journey continues, Eric visits the historic city of Wroclaw, known as the Venice of Poland for its numerous bridges and canals. Here, he takes a boat tour of the city's waterways and learns about its fascinating history and architecture.

Next, Eric travels to the Bieszczady Mountains, a remote and wild region in the southeast of the country. Here, he embarks on a trek through the dense forest and rugged terrain, visiting traditional mountain huts and taking in the stunning vistas of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

The journey then takes Eric to the city of Gdansk, located on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Here, he learns about the city's role in Poland's struggle for independence and visits landmarks such as the Museum of the Second World War and the Solidarity Center.

Finally, the journey ends in the Slowinski National Park, a unique area located on the Baltic coast that is home to stunning sand dunes and coastal wetlands. Here, Eric explores the park's diverse ecosystems and learns about the efforts to preserve this fragile area for future generations.

Throughout the episode, Eric meets with local experts and enthusiasts who share their knowledge and passion for Poland's natural and cultural treasures. From traditional folk music and dance to modern eco-tourism initiatives, Poland offers a wealth of experiences and discoveries that are sure to leave viewers inspired and energized.
