Ep 6. The Lord of No Mercy

The Lord of No Mercy is the sixth episode in season 3 of Fargo, a critically acclaimed television series created by Noah Hawley. Set in the snowy and unpredictable landscape of Minnesota, Fargo is an anthology crime drama that tells the stories of people who get entangled in violent and twisted events that usually end up in murder.

Meanwhile, V.M. Varga (David Thewlis), the creepy and menacing business associate of Emmit's, visits his office and informs him that they're under investigation by the IRS. Emmit is shocked and worried, but Varga tells him not to worry, as he has a plan to make everything right. Varga is a mysterious character who seems to have a lot of pull and power, and it's clear that he's not to be messed with.

As the episode progresses, we see Ray hiring a crooked attorney, Maurice (Scoot McNairy), to steal a valuable stamp from Emmit's office. However, things don't go as planned, and Maurice ends up killing someone in the process. This sets off a chain of events that leads to more violence and danger for everyone involved.

Meanwhile, Gloria is still trying to piece together the clues to the murder of her stepfather. She visits a nursing home to talk to a woman who claims to have information, but the woman is uncooperative and unresponsive. However, Gloria notices a strange symbol on the woman's wall, which she recognizes from the previous crime scene. This sets off a lightbulb in Gloria's head, and she realizes that there might be more to this case than she initially thought.

The Lord of No Mercy is a tense and gripping episode of Fargo. The show is known for its dark humor, gritty violence, and excellent performances, and this episode delivers all of that and more. The plot is intricate and well-crafted, and the characters are complex and fascinating. It's a show that will keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing until the very end.
