They start the day fly fishing with Chironomids and Bloodworms and are moderately successful hooking fish. After a bit that bite stops and they go in search of a new successful tactic. It is not until early afternoon that they find the right fly. A damsel imitation. They manage to catch and release several fish with this fly either casting to shore and pulling it back to the boat or trolling.
