Set in Rio de Janeiro in the 1950s, Girls From Ipanema follows the lives of three women, Malu, Adélia and Thereza, as they navigate societal expectations, love, and personal ambitions. After a disappointing audition for a record producer, Thereza meets a new friend, Lígia, who offers her encouragement and advice. However, as she becomes more involved in the music scene, Thereza risks exposing her double life.
