Eikichi Onizuka is on thin ice at Holy Forest Academy. After his previous escapades, his fellow faculty members are quick to doubt his intentions and his past experiences as a former motorcycle gang member are coming to light. As he works to gain the trust of his colleagues and students, Onizuka is faced with even more challenges in "Conspiracies All Around," the sixth episode of Great Teacher Onizuka's first season.
Onizuka's efforts to build a connection with his students are tested when a handful of them become involved in a conspiracy to blackmail wealthy businessmen. Onizuka takes it upon himself to investigate and put a stop to the scheme, but his unorthodox methods of discipline and hasty confrontation only raise more suspicions from the other teachers and school officials.
Meanwhile, tensions grow between Onizuka and his fellow faculty member, Vice Principal Hiroshi Uchiyamada. Uchiyamada is struggling to maintain order at the school and sees Onizuka's behavior as erratic and potentially dangerous. Onizuka, on the other hand, sees Uchiyamada as a hypocritical bureaucrat who is blind to the needs of the students.
As the conspiracy unfolds and Onizuka's methods continue to draw scrutiny, he finds himself in a precarious situation. The tables have turned and Onizuka must rely on the same students he is trying to protect to clear his name and prove that he is a teacher worth having on staff at Holy Forest Academy.
"Conspiracies All Around" is a tense episode that shows the complex web of relationships between faculty, students, and administration at Holy Forest Academy. Onizuka's brash personality is tested to its limits as he faces various obstacles to his mission of helping his students become better people. Will he be able to come out on top and earn the respect of his colleagues and students? Viewers will have to watch to find out.
