- January 19, 2017
Idiotest season 4 episode 2 features a matchup between two generations: the Millennials vs. the Baby Boomers. Hosted by comedian Ben Gleib, each team consists of two contestants who must answer brain teasers and puzzles in order to win money.
The Millennials on the show are in their 20s and 30s, and they represent the generation that has grown up with technology at their fingertips. They are known for being tech-savvy and open-minded, and often criticized for being entitled and lazy. The Baby Boomers, on the other hand, are in their 60s and 70s and are often referred to as the “me” generation. They are known for being hardworking and financially responsible, but sometimes stubborn and resistant to change.
In the first round, each team is presented with an image puzzle and must figure out what common phrase or saying the puzzle represents. The puzzles range from a picture of a baseball and a bat with the word “car” above it (which represents the phrase “hit and run”), to a picture of a cherry, an apple, and a peach with the word “own” above it (which represents the phrase “pick your own fruit”). The Millennials and Baby Boomers both struggle with some of the puzzles, but ultimately end up tied at the end of the round.
The second round is a rapid-fire round where each team has 90 seconds to answer as many questions as possible. The questions range from general knowledge questions like “What is the capital of New York?” to more specific questions like “What color is the ‘C’ in Coca-Cola’s logo?” The Millennials start off strong, but the Baby Boomers catch up quickly and end up winning the round with a score of 9-7.
In the third and final round, each team is presented with a puzzle that has multiple parts. The Millennials are presented with a puzzle that involves rearranging letters to spell out the names of different countries, while the Baby Boomers are presented with a puzzle that involves identifying famous landmarks. Both teams struggle with their puzzles, but the Baby Boomers ultimately come out on top and win the game.
Overall, the Millennials and Baby Boomers have a fun and friendly competition on Idiotest season 4 episode 2. While they may have their differences, they are able to come together and showcase their problem-solving skills in a lighthearted and entertaining way.
