Charlie Goes America All Over Everybody's Ass is the ninth episode of the second season of the hit show It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. The episode follows the gang as they attempt to throw a Fourth of July party.

The episode begins with Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Dennis (Glenn Howerton) discussing their plans for the upcoming holiday. They decide to throw a Fourth of July party at Paddy's Pub, but they quickly realize that they need to find a way to make the party stand out. After some brainstorming, they come up with the idea to make the party a patriotic celebration of America, complete with American flags, hot dogs, and apple pie.

As the gang is preparing for the party, they begin to realize the true meaning behind the Fourth of July. Charlie becomes obsessed with the idea of what he calls "America all over everybody's ass," which he believes means taking over other countries in the name of democracy. Dennis, on the other hand, becomes convinced that the Fourth of July is really about independence and freedom, and he decides to use the party to promote his political beliefs.

As the party begins, the gang goes all out in their celebration of America. They decorate the bar with American flags, wear red, white, and blue clothing, and serve hot dogs and apple pie to their guests. Charlie even performs a special song he wrote called "The Nightman Cometh," which he believes is a tribute to American superiority. However, as the party goes on, tensions begin to rise between the gang and their guests as they realize that they have very different views on what it means to be patriotic.

Things come to a head when an immigrant who is in the country illegally shows up at the party. The gang, led by Charlie, becomes convinced that he is a terrorist who is planning to attack America, and they decide to take matters into their own hands and detain him. However, as they interrogate the man, they realize that they are in over their heads and have no idea what to do with him.

In the end, the gang comes to the realization that they may have misunderstood the true meaning of the Fourth of July. They come to a truce and decide to celebrate America together, with a newfound respect for each other's beliefs. The episode ends with the gang watching a fireworks display and reflecting on what it means to be American.

Overall, Charlie Goes America All Over Everybody's Ass is a hilarious and thought-provoking episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. It tackles issues of patriotism, immigration, and American identity in a way that is both entertaining and meaningful. The episode is a must-see for fans of the show and anyone who is interested in exploring what it means to be American.
