After a long break, the highly acclaimed show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia returned with the first episode of its seventh season, Frank's Pretty Woman.
The episode begins with the gang sitting in Paddy's Pub discussing Frank's recent divorce and his new love interest, a woman named Roxy. Frank seems to be head over heels for Roxy, but the gang is skeptical. They believe that Roxy is just a gold digger and is only using Frank for his money. Charlie is particularly concerned as he thinks that Frank is heading towards a midlife crisis and is making poor decisions as a result of it.
Dennis comes up with a plan to expose Roxy's true intentions. He suggests that they hire a male prostitute to seduce Roxy and see if she takes the bait. The gang agrees and head off to find a male prostitute. They eventually find a man named Ben, who agrees to go along with the plan for the right price.
The gang sets up a date between Roxy and Ben at an expensive restaurant. As they watch from a nearby table, they soon realize that their plan is going wrong. Instead of rejecting Ben, Roxy seems to be enjoying his company. She even starts making out with him in front of the gang.
The gang is stunned and starts to question their plan. They start to believe that Roxy might actually be in love with Frank. They decide to confront Frank about his relationship with Roxy and express their concerns. However, Frank is adamant in defending Roxy and his relationship with her.
Throughout the episode, we see the characters confront their own insecurities and flaws. We see Dennis being insecure about his age and his looks, Mac questioning his sexuality, and Dee struggling with her identity crisis. Charlie, on the other hand, is just trying to keep up with the others and be a part of the gang.
The episode ends with an unexpected twist that leaves the gang in shock. It sets the tone for the rest of the season and hints at some major changes in the gang's dynamic.
Overall, Frank's Pretty Woman is a great start to the seventh season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It is packed with humor, sarcasm, and unexpected twists. The characters are as outrageous as ever, and the writing is top-notch. It's definitely a must-watch for fans of the show and anyone who loves dark comedies.
