She is shown to be an excellent horse rider, sword fighter and archer, much to the chagrin of the British officers who try to suppress her spirit. Manikarnika's character is seen as a symbol of the indomitable spirit of resistance against the British rule, which is portrayed as ruthless and oppressive.

The episode ends with Manikarnika being summoned to the British Resident's office, where she is warned to not meddle in the affairs of the British government. The Residency doctor, Captain Gordon, tries to intimidate Manikarnika by pointing out the benefits of collaboration with the British Raj, but she refuses to bow down to his threats. The audience is left with a sense of the impending conflict between Manikarnika and the British forces, as she declares that she is ready to fight them with all her might.
