Kopitiam is a Malaysian sitcom that follows the daily lives of a group of regulars who frequent a traditional coffee shop called the Kopitiam. In the first episode of the series titled "Episode 1", viewers are introduced to the various characters that make up the sitcom's primary cast.

Throughout the episode, the group banters and teases each other, providing plenty of lighthearted moments. There are also several relatable themes explored in the show, such as the challenges of building relationships, the struggles of finding purpose in life, and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude in the face of adversity.

One of the standout moments of the episode is when a young man named Alan (played by Afdlin Shauki) enters the coffee shop, claiming to be a successful businessman. Despite his flashy appearance, the regulars quickly realize that Alan is a fraud. This leads to a hilarious sequence of events as the group teams up to expose Alan's lies.
