As a struggle for control of the house unfolds, the Caretakers ally themselves with Concord, who is no match for the evil spirits. A race begins to find the skeleton key that can unlock all of the powers of the house - but in order to find the key one of the guests must give up their Last Rights.

They accept a deal from a boy named Concord, who says he can help them find Nirvana if they are able to give up their possession and live in a house for one week. As they move in, four Caretakers test their character to see if they qualify for Nirvana or the graveyard out back.
