Lupin the Third Part II is an anime television series produced by Tokyo Movie Shinsha and originally aired in Japan from October 1977 to October 1980. It is the second television series featuring the character Arsène Lupin III, created by Monkey Punch, following the original series in 1971.
Episode 22, entitled "Auntie Ballistic (A Witch in the Fourth Dimension)," follows Lupin and his gang as they attempt to steal a rare gemstone from a wealthy woman named Auntie Ballistic. However, they soon discover that Auntie Ballistic is not an ordinary woman, but a witch who has the ability to travel through time and space.
As the episode begins, Lupin and Jigen are preparing to steal the gemstone from Auntie Ballistic's mansion. However, they are interrupted by Fujiko, who has already stolen the gemstone and wants to sell it to the highest bidder. Lupin and Jigen persuade Fujiko to hand over the gemstone to them and they proceed with their plan to steal it from Auntie Ballistic.
Once they arrive at Auntie Ballistic's mansion, Lupin and Jigen encounter strange and supernatural occurrences, suggesting that the woman they are attempting to steal from may not be what she seems. They soon discover that Auntie Ballistic is a witch who can travel through time and space using a special crystal ball. She uses her powers to send Lupin and Jigen into a time warp, where they encounter various historical figures, including Julius Caesar and Napoleon Bonaparte.
Meanwhile, Inspector Zenigata is hot on Lupin's trail and trying to track down the stolen gemstone. He teams up with a psychic named Mama Vito, who is able to communicate with Auntie Ballistic and help them locate Lupin's whereabouts.
As Lupin and Jigen try to navigate the time warp and find their way back to the present day, they must also evade the clutches of Auntie Ballistic, who wants the gemstone for herself. They eventually realize that they must use Auntie Ballistic's crystal ball to escape the time warp and return to the present day.
In the end, Lupin and his gang successfully steal the gemstone and evade Inspector Zenigata, but not without encountering some unexpected twists and turns along the way.
Overall, "Auntie Ballistic (A Witch in the Fourth Dimension)" is a thrilling and suspenseful episode that showcases Lupin's daring heist skills and introduces supernatural elements to the series. The episode also features several historical figures and a unique time travel plot, adding a fresh twist to the usual Lupin formula.
