The Sleeping Lion, a statue made of solid gold, is being transported to a museum by a specially armored, airtight car to mark the 50th anniversary of Australia’s independence. Lupin steals the armored car together with the statue out from under the Sydney Police’s watchful eye, but then discovers that also inside the armored car is a nearly asphyxiated Inspector Zenigata. Will Lupin choose the golden statue over Inspector Zenigata’s life?
